About Bluetooth settings

IF you can’t found the bluetooth while connecting KeyPal to TokenPocket wallet,
The settings are as follows

    Android 10

  2. Vivo

    (1)钱包是否把蓝牙关闭了,关闭的话从菜单里把蓝牙打开;
    (2)蓝牙开启着但找不到设备,或没显示蓝牙图标。从菜单里把蓝牙关闭–>关机–>开机–>菜单中开启蓝牙。依然没有蓝牙图标的话可能是蓝牙芯片问题,建议直接更换设备。
    (3)找不到设备:硬件钱包是否在USB连接状态(连接了电脑),屏幕上的蓝牙图标是否是已连接状态(显示为蓝色)。已连接USB则拔掉数据线,关机再开机。蓝牙已连接则是设备与别的手机连接了,同样关机再开机就可断开连接。
    (4)硬件钱包上没有看到蓝牙配对码:重启,然后重新连接蓝牙。以及检查蓝牙配对列表中是否已经有这个设备,有的话删掉配对,再在APP里重新配对。千万不要直接在手机蓝牙列表里配对,这可能导致APP检测不到设备。
    (5)设备的蓝牙最大配对个数是8个,如配对手机的个数大于8,会自动覆盖前面的配对手机,此时如果和已被覆盖配对信息的手机连接会出现蓝牙能连接上但是无法通信的问题,需要在手机蓝牙列表里删除配对后再重新从APP配对。

  7. All kinds of mobile phone Bluetooth permissions open method
    1.1 Apple System Settings
Turn on Bluetooth: Settings → Turn on Bluetooth
    Notice:

  8. For devices with iOS13 or above, when connecting for the first time, you need to pay attention to whether the Bluetooth permission of TokenPocket is enabled.

  9. For devices with iOS13 or above, if the Bluetooth permission is denied when using TokenPocket for the first time, you need to manually enable the permission in the settings. Settings–>TokenPocket–>Turn on Bluetooth permissions
    1.2 Android system settings
The Android system ensures that the GPS and Bluetooth positioning accuracy of the phone is turned on.
For mobile phones with Android 10 and above systems, it should be noted that:
When connecting to TokenPocket, a pop-up window or notification bar on the mobile phone will prompt a “pairing request” pop-up box, click the pop-up box to display a “Bluetooth pairing request”, and enter the pairing code on the hardware wallet. Sometimes the pairing request popup may also appear in the notification center.

1.2.1 OPPO Mobile Phones
Turn on Location Services: Settings–>Other Settings–>Devices and Privacy–>Location Information–>Turn on Location Services
Remark:

  1. When connecting for the first time, allow location permission
  2. If OPPO refuses the location permission when using TokenPocket for the first time, you need to manually turn on the permission in the settings. Otherwise, the device may not be found. Open as follows:
    Settings–>Security–>App Permissions–>Apps–>TokenPocket–>Location–>Allow

1.2.2 Huawei Mobile Phones
Turn on Location Services: Settings–>Privacy–>Location Services–>Turn on Access My Location
How to open Huawei Hongmeng: Settings–>Privacy–>Location Services–>Improve Accuracy–>Bluetooth Scanning
Remark:

  1. Always allow location permission when connecting for the first time
  2. The way to manually open permissions in Huawei settings is as follows:
    Settings–>Privacy–>Permission Management–>TokenPocket–>Location Information–>Always Allow

1.2.3 Xiaomi
Turn on Location Services: Settings–>Passwords, Privacy & Security–>Location Information–>Enable Location Services
Remark:

  1. Always allow location permission when connecting for the first time
  2. The way to manually open the permissions in the settings of Xiaomi mobile phones is as follows:
    Settings–>App Settings–>Authorization Management–>App Rights Management–>TokenPocket–>Location–>Allow

1.2.4 Vivo
Turn on Location Services: Settings–>Location Services–>Turn on Access My Location
Remark:

  1. Always allow location permission when connecting for the first time

  2. Vivo manually opens the permissions in the settings as follows:
    Settings–>Location Services–>TokenPocket–>Allow

  3. Make sure to turn on the allow notification switch on vivo mobile phones, otherwise the Bluetooth pairing box may not pop up. The method is as follows.
Settings–>Notifications and Status Bar–>App Notification Management–>Settings–>Turn on Allow Notifications

  4. Check and deal with Bluetooth connection
The actual situation may be that the bluetooth cannot be connected, or the bluetooth may not find the device at all.

  5. Check the hardware wallet status
    (1) Whether the wallet has turned off the Bluetooth, if it is turned off, turn on the Bluetooth from the menu;
    (2) Bluetooth is turned on but the device cannot be found, or the Bluetooth icon is not displayed. Turn off bluetooth from the menu → power off → power on → turn on bluetooth from the menu. If there is still no Bluetooth icon, it may be a Bluetooth chip problem. It is recommended to replace the device directly.
    (3) The device cannot be found: whether the hardware wallet is in the USB connection state (connected to the computer), and whether the Bluetooth icon on the screen is connected (displayed in blue). If the USB is connected, unplug the data cable, turn off and on again. If the Bluetooth is connected, the device is connected to another mobile phone, and the connection can be disconnected by turning off and on again.
    (4) The Bluetooth pairing code is not seen on the hardware wallet: reboot, and then reconnect the Bluetooth. And check whether there is already this device in the Bluetooth pairing list, if there is, delete the pairing, and then pair it again in the APP. Do not pair directly in the Bluetooth list of the mobile phone, this may cause the APP to not detect the device.
    (5) The maximum number of Bluetooth pairings of the device is 8. If the number of paired mobile phones is greater than 8, it will automatically cover the previous paired mobile phones. At this time, if it is connected to the mobile phone whose pairing information has been covered, it will appear that Bluetooth can be connected but For the problem of inability to communicate, you need to delete the pairing in the Bluetooth list of the mobile phone and then re-pair from the APP.

  6. Check the phone status
    (1) Check whether the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is turned on, and then look for the Bluetooth device starting with TP in the Bluetooth list of the mobile phone.
    (2) If it is a paired device, you can delete the pairing, turn off the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, and then turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone after a while. The hardware wallet device is also turned off and on again.
    (3) Occasionally some older mobile phones (I have seen this situation in the old vivo mobile phones of the testing department), it may be necessary to restart the mobile phone to make the mobile phone Bluetooth work normally.
    (4) The Bluetooth pairing box is not seen on the mobile phone: check whether the notification permission of TokenPocket is disabled.
